Types of Bathroom Tapware

Depending on your bathroom design, you'll need a variety of tapware items. Bathroom tapware includes basin tapware, shower tapware, and bath tapware, all of which come in a variety of shapes and varieties.

When looking for bathroom tapware, keep in mind that each piece should be matched or purchased from the same range to maintain a consistent look. If your basin tapware is matte black, your shower tapware should be as well.

Basin Tapware -

There are wall-mounted and top-mounted taps for vanities and basins, just as there are for kitchen faucets.

Because they provide extra bench space on the vanity, wall-mounted basin taps are gaining popularity and becoming a trendy choice for bathroom vanities. Wall mixer sets and standard three-piece tap sets are both available.

Top-mounted basin taps are favoured because they provide a wider range of options. Mixers, three-piece tap sets, and pillar taps are among the styles available. Which is best for your bathroom will depend on whether you have a one-hole or three-hole vanity top or basin.

Shower tapware -

Shower tapware comes in a variety of shapes and sizes and offers the broadest range of options for any tapware. Shower mixers, shower sets, showerheads, shower arms, shower rails, twin showers, shower sets, and hand showers are just a few of the options. It is entirely up to you to make your decision. However, the functionality must be taken into account.

Shower rails, twin showers, and hand showers are the best options for practical shower tapware. They all have a design characteristic that allows them to adjust the height, placement, or direction of water to a more suitable position.

Bath tapware -

Bath tapware comes in a variety of styles and designs. The sort of bath you select will have a considerable impact on your decision. Do you have a tub/shower combo, a freestanding tub, a back-to-the-wall tub, or a classic insert tub? Is it possible to have a tap that is located on the wall or on the top?

Bath/shower combo -

A single shower rail or a shower mixer with a diverter to divert the water to the separate bath mixer/tap set is ideal for combined bath/shower combinations. Taps that are both wall-mounted and top-mounted are ideal.

Freestanding bath -

When it comes to tapware, freestanding baths give a little bit of design flair. A freestanding floor-mounted bath mixer is preferable when placed away from a wall. A wall-mounted bath mixer or a bath set can also be considered if the bath is close to a wall.

Back-to-the-wall baths -

Back-to-the-wall baths are best suited to any wall-mounted bath tapware, such as bath mixers and bath sets.

Traditional insert bath -

Wall-mounted and top-mounted taps go nicely with traditional insert baths. The best option is determined by whether or not the bath has tap holes. If it doesn't, a wall-mounted tap is probably the preferable choice.
